Situated in the Southern Alps, this high altitude resort benefits from the best of both worlds, 300 days of sunshine per year, yet still with guaranteed snow, you can be skiing well groomed slopes whilst enjoying the feel of the sun on your face. Made up of four villages, Saint Marcellin, Sainte Marie, Sainte Catherine et Les Claux, this project is situated in Vars-les-Claux the highest of the three and located at 2000m with pistes reaching up to 2750 m. Forming part of ‘La forêt blanche’ ski domain along with Risoul, snow is in abundance across its 180 km of pistes, with a good range for all levels, and pistes which have spectacular views or weave through wooded trails.
There are many activities on offer in this resort which attract visitors in both summer and winter. Aside from skiing and snowboarding, visitors can enjoy skidooing, Dog sledding, sledging, ice skating, Nordic skiing and much more. In summer the sunny climate allows brilliant conditions for hiking, mountain biking and golfing. The centre of the resort offers some excellent après ski, with log cabin bars, restaurants and discos which are easily accessible from the project, yet far enough to offer tranquillity when you return to your property.
