Three Valleys - Classic Property

The Three Valleys are home to eight highly individual ski resorts that are linked together by a unique network of ski lifts and ski runs. The ski area of the Three Valleys is one of the largest in the world with 600km ski slopes and 200 ski lifts which caters for everyone, from beginner to expert. The eight resorts include the famous Courchevel, Meribel and Val Thorens as well as Les Menuires, La Tania, Brides Les Bains and St Martin de Belleville.

Courchevel: 

Courchevel is not one but four quite separate villages at different altitudes, linked by the ski slopes and a quick and efficient free bus service.  Courchevel 1850 is the most international resort with the jet-set image. Courchevel 1650 and 1550 are more down to earth, have their own facilities and still provide excellent access to the amazing ski area.

For those who like to explore their surroundings on foot, Courchevel provides 19 km of walking trails that are marked and regularly groomed, but they are not supervised.  There is also a sledging run 2 km long, library, ice skating rink, climbing, bowling and cinemas. 

Meribel: 

Méribel is a great base from which to explore Les Trois Vallées.  Méribel is build up of three areas, Meribel Village, Méribel Centre and Méribel Mottaret.

Val Thorens:

Val Thorens is the highest ski resort in Europe. Thanks to its six impressive glaciers, the resort provides doorstep skiing on guaranteed snow, which makes it an ideal base for keen skiers and families all season round.

Les Menuires:

Created in the middle of the sixties, the resort of Les Menuires provides a short history of forty years of mountain architecture, but one which is continually looking for more authenticity.

La Tania:

With its pedestrian centre and woodland vicinity, La Tania enjoys a relaxed atmosphere in purpose built but tasteful natural surroundings. Situated in the Courchevel valley, it gives direct access to the Three Valleys, the largest ski area in the world. La Tania is worth visiting for its accessible skiing and for its attractive prices.

Brides Les Bains:

There are not many historical Spa towns that double up as ski resorts and enjoy access to the world’s largest ski area. Brides Les Bains has these characteristics without the usual high prices of a major resort and also without the crowds. There is a high speed gondola which takes you to the resort of Meribel at 1450m (takes just 25 minutes) from where you can ski the Trois Vallées. In Brides Les Bains everyone can benefit from “Le Grand Spa des Alpes®”. It is a great place to ease away the aches and pains from a hard day on the slopes. There is also a cinema, casino and various shops and restaurants, two discos and different bars some with a musical atmosphere.

St Martin de Belleville:

St Martin is a traditional and pretty Alpine village that has remained relatively unspoilt despite being at the heart of one of the largest ski areas in France. Visitors benefit from the modern lift system and huge variety of runs that the Three Valleys have to offer but at lower prices than the larger resorts.
