Property in Serre Chevalier
Situated in the Southern Alps and relatively unknown on the British market, Serre Chevalier is the collective term for thirteen villages that lie along the valley floor from Grenoble to Gap with the slopes rising up towards the north-east to give Serre Chevalier its name. The three main villages are Monêtier Les Bains, Villeneuve and Chantemerle which lead to Briançon, the highest town in Europe and mountain stage of the Tour de France. Serre Chevalier boasts an amazing 300 days of sunshine and is a full year round resort. The ski area is the fourth largest in France with 250kms of high altitude skiing up to 2830m. The ski area is managed and run by Compagnie Des Alpes who are responsible for the spectacular rise of La Plagne and Les Arcs and the creation of the massive Paradiski ski area amongst their list of achievements.
