The skiing and snowboarding terrain in the Meribel Valley is magnificent with steep powder filled pistes, tight chutes and natural gullies, fast mogul runs, 150 kilometres of long linking groomed trails and beginner runs. The Valley is serviced by a fast and efficient lift system. Meribel is part of Les 3 Vallees the largest interlinked resorts in the world with 600 kilometres of endless marked trails plus unlimited off piste terrain. You could ski or snowboard Les 3 Vallees terrain for weeks and not cover it entirely!
The resort is located at 1,450m but lifts can take you as high as 3200m allowing the most of the higher powder conditions. As part of the Three Valleys, Meribel is connected to the highest resort in the Europe, Val Thorens making this area one of the best for snow conditions around.
Situated 2 hours from Chamberry and 3 hours from Geneva, Meribel is an easy resort to reach by air. If flying is not for you, Moutiers train station is a mere 30 minute transfer.
