The skiing region of the Aosta valley is comprised of various different resorts ranging from the popular and chic Courmayeur to such undiscovered gems as La Thuile and Cervinia. The valley is flanked by the two Alpine giants, the Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn, and borders with both Switzerland and France. The region is easily accessible from the UK via the Mont Blanc tunnel, or alternatively airports at Turin and Milan are close by.
