The chalet is located in the resort of La Plagne - the largest single resort in Europe with 225km of pistes. La Plagne is linked by the "Vanoise Express" cable car with Les Arcs to create the vast ski area of Paradiski. In the summer months, the area also has a host of mountain activities including white water rafting on the Isere river, climbing centres, mountain biking, walking and many more.
The chalet is located in the village of La Plagne Montalbert - a traditional village that is full of character at the foot of beautiful tree-lined runs to ski down in winter or walk through in summer. The north-facing slopes have a good snow record for cover throughout the season from mid-December until the end of April.
The chalet is located approximately 150m from the centre of the village where the chairlift goes up into the main areas of La Plagne. The village itself has a quaint, pedestrian high street with a number of shops and boutiques. There are 11 bars and restaurants to choose from, several ski shops, a supermarket, ski school, souvenir shops and many others. The village also has a small night-club and a number of bars open late into the night during the season.
Chalet Anniek is a recent construction (2002) built to a very high standard. The accommodation is on 3 floors and comprises 8 bedrooms with en-suite facilities that can sleep up to 18 people. Dividing walls between some of the bedrooms could be removed to create a smaller number of larger bedrooms and make the house more suitable for a family home. The property is currently used on a commercial basis and complies with the new fire regulations covering chalet accommodation for commercial use.
There are ski lockers at the entrance and a relaxation area on the ground floor with hot tub and large sauna.
The kitchen is fully equipped and the open-plan dining area opens out to the large balcony. There is a fireplace in the living room.
