Situated between La Plagne and Les Arcs, Montchavin enjoys an exceptional location at the heart of Paradiski, arguably the world’s biggest ski area.
In the 1970s Montchavin was transformed from a farming community into a charming ski village, and its Savoyarde architechture makes it one of the prettiest La Plagne villages. Fast and efficient lifts at the base of the village connect up with the rest of the Paradiski domain. Montchavin is ideal for small families or those who enjoy cosy and quiet Alpine surroundings combined with an extensive ski area. There are also snowmaking facilities to ensure season long snow coverage down to resort level.
The resort has restaurants and bars, a cinema, nightclub, shops and two ski schools. For even more dining/entertainment option, Les Coches is just up the mountain at 1450m, linked to Montchavin by lifts and a resort bus.
