The charming village of Les Coches is situated at the foot of La Plagne ski domain, and has retained its traditional charm with cobble stoned-streets and ‘lauze’ roofs. With access to the entire Paradiski area, you can never tire of the skiing with over 405km of slopes covering two peaks of over 3,000m! Les Coches itself is at an altitude of 1,450m, with an emphasis on being a family friendly resort, it has a pedestrianised centre. Along with its sister village, Montchavin, it provides its own sheltered, tree lined ski area - some 30kms - excellent news in bad weather. Access to high altitude La Plagne is via the new high speed chairlifts, whilst the incredible Vanoise Express gondola whisks you to Les Arcs in a mere 4 minutes.
The village offers all you could need for a skiing holiday village; an excellent choice of shops, a couple of bars (including the excellent “The Last One”), some great value restaurants and a well-stocked supermarket. In summer, Les Coches looks lovely with the traditional balconies covered in flowers. There are a wealth of activities to offer with mountain biking, cycling, walking, climbing, canoeing, white water rafting and parapenting all on offer in the summer. For a day out the historic towns of Chambery, Aix Les Bains and the lovely town of Annecy are all only an hour and a bit away by car whilst, down in the valley, Bourg St. Maurice now has an all year round tourist trade.
We also provide ski holidays in Les Coches.
