Flaine is part of the Grand Massif area, which consists of 265km and is made up of 5 resorts: Les Carroz, Flaine, Morillon, Samoens and Sixt. Up to a height of 2,500m, it is a large and varied area with off-piste challenges for experts as well as extensive intermediate terrain. As Flaine is located in a bowl with many north facing slopes it usually enjoys a lot of sunshine and the snow in the main bowl is very reliable. The pistes offer a good mix of blacks, reds, blue and greens, as well as two snowparks.
Flaine is also a popular destination in the summer season and offers many all year round facilities such as an ice driving circuit, hang gliding, ice skating, bowling, cinema, gymnasium and swimming pool.
