Nice is the Jewel of the Cote d’Azur with its palaces, follies and facades it is the 5th largest city in France and offers a warm climate along the natural curve of the Baie des Anges. Nice is renowned for its cultural events and its culturally rich museums which bring thousands of tourists to the city each year. The city has recently promoted the use of soft transport modes including trams and bicycles in order to make the city centre more pedestrian friendly.
