Joanna Yellowlees-Bound
Joanna Yellowlees-Bound, a graduate from Oxford University, has worked with Erna Low for the past 18 years and on Miss Low's retirement in 1994, became her Partner and Managing Director of the company. Having been to school in Brussels, she is bilingual in French and fluent in German. Joanna feels privileged to have learnt tour operating direct from Miss Low - the Doyenne of the travel industry - and it is her mission to continue to promote the hallmark of the Erna Low holiday into the 21st century - 'quality' holidays at affordable prices for the discerning traveler. Joanna is married to a maritime archaeologist and has 3 young sons.

Francois Marchand
Francois joined the Erna Low Property team in October 2008, in charge of a project in Mauritius. He then developed the South of France collection for Erna Low, having lived there for many years. Originally French, Francois moved to Ireland in 1998 for his studies in International Marketing Business and Languages and decided to stay. He has been involved in the sale of French properties since 2004, especially with leaseback developers and management companies. His full understanding of the market and the French legal system is helping all our clients in proceeding with their purchase very smoothly. Francois is now the General Manager at Erna Low Property.

John Ward
John initially joined Erna Low in the Administration department. After leaving the company to do one last season, he returned in the role of Technical Manage for all Erna Low brands. A graduate in Recreation & Tourism Management, he has worked three seasons in Colorado and even a short spell working in a ski resort in South Africa.

Vicki Barsby
Vicki has just joined the team, having returned to London in 2011 after spending 3 winter seasons in Val D'Isere, France. She has a degree in English Literature and American Studies, which she has used to do a variety of internships in journalism and television, but - since the mountains always won in the end - she has now decided to work in the industry she loves. She is a keen skier, a concussion-prone wakeboarder, and an expert white-water surfer.

Virginie Souchon
Virginie first started working in the Drome Region of France within a role of tourism development. After meeting her partner here, they decided to move to the beautiful Alps where she joined the busy team in charge of animations and events for 4 years in La Plagne. She left her position to accomplish a long standing dream of cycling through Europe with her partner and baby boy for a few months. Virginie’s travels made her realise how much working alongside people of different nationalities and negotiating between parties interested her and this is what she would look for in her next job… here she is now! Working with Erna Low Property & Les Arcs Immobilier in our agency in Arc 1950 in charge of administration and client relationships.

Caroline Xambeu
Following her commercial studies, Caroline has worked for a good 10 years in the world of tourism within a few ski resorts in the Tarentaise area. After 5 years working for the promotion and communication of La Plagne, Caroline has found the opportunity and the drive to move towards the high end real estate in this Alps. This new career fits her perfectly as she can share her passion for the mountains she knows so well and her knowledge of the area with a range of clients, which is what she loves most.

James Ross
James has just joined the team after two winter seasons in the French Alps, as a manager for a leading British ski company. He has extensive knowledge of the ski industry and French resorts in particular, having worked in Val d’Isere, La Rosiere, Meribel and Courchevel.
He has previously worked for a number of years in the property industry, for a firm of London surveyors as a consulting agent and has a Masters degree in European Real Estate. Combining his background in property and the ski industry, he can confidently assist you in your property search with authority.
